We delivered a full CGI product animation for the Battery Energy Drink No Calories variant owned by the Carlsberg Group. This project combined digital production and advanced visual effects. We prepared a visual story showing the transformation of a classic can into the new sugar-free product. We based the narrative on an industrial science fiction aesthetic, placing the beverage in a high-tech environment.
The primary challenge was increasing the recognition of the new product while clearly communicating its zero-calorie recipe. We needed to show the transformation of the classic energy drink into a new modern alternative. Our studio built an intuitive message for fitness-conscious consumers. The resulting product animation combined the energetic character of the brand with a futuristic visual form.
3D product animation is a specialized digital process used to create photorealistic commercials without physical filming constraints. It allows beverage brands to showcase their products in impossible environments like futuristic laboratories or dynamic testing chambers.
High-quality CGI provides total control over digital lighting and material reflections. This makes the product look incredibly appealing and appetizing to the target audience. Brands choose custom 3D animation to generate dynamic marketing assets that capture attention instantly across social media and television broadcasting networks.
We built the industrial world by designing a three-dimensional environment of a spinning g-force testing machine. We completely eliminated traditional live action shooting from this project. Our artists controlled the camera angles and the exact exposure of the brand logo in digital space.
We prepared the models and textures in 3ds Max and Adobe Photoshop. This combination allowed us to precisely recreate the complex mechanics of the testing machine and the aluminum surface of the can. We designed the robotic arms and the structure of a device simulating jet pilot training.
Our artists built the complete geometry of the machine and prepared digital assets that maintained perfect product readability during rapid dynamic movement. We developed specific textures differentiating the new variant from the base product.
We executed the rendering process using the V-Ray engine. This delivered photorealistic rendering of the lighting and credible metal reflections alongside the energy effects generated by the machine. We merged the image layers using Nuke and Adobe After Effects.
Our VFX compositing workflow provided full control over energy trails and focus depth. We integrated these moving visual effects with professional sound design to amplify the feeling of extreme acceleration. The sounds of energy discharges perfectly matched the visual momentum of the scene.
The brand gained a dynamic sales tool that positions the new drink as a highly attractive alternative to classic energy drinks. Displaying the product in a high-tech setting strengthened brand recognition among the target consumer group.
The delivered digital material directly supported the corporate video production strategy of the Carlsberg company. We delivered a cohesive spot ready for wide distribution through highly effective visual communication.
We utilized a professional set of digital tools to guarantee photorealism and fluid mechanical animation. 3ds Max handled the modeling of the can and the testing machine. V-Ray was used for the photorealistic rendering of lighting and aluminum reflections. Adobe After Effects managed the final post-production and motion design elements. Nuke enabled advanced compositing by blending layers of light and energy. Adobe Photoshop was used to prepare textures highlighting the technical nature of the set design.
The project was executed by a dedicated team of specialists, ensuring the technical correctness of every frame. Project Manager Lukasz Swierczynski coordinated the production. Lukasz Gdaniec served as Art Director and Lead 3D. The digital assets were created by 3D Artists Lukasz Gdaniec and Lukasz Walichnowski. Kris Rusinek delivered the 3D Animation. Lukasz Swierczynski handled the Compositing. Caglar Sengul designed the sound.
